Gutters

Our mainline products are seamless gutters, roll formed on site from pre-painted coils of Colorlume®, a zinc and aluminium alloy, profiled in a modern and timeless "Ogee" style. Hanger brackets are concealed inside the gutter, enhancing aesthetics and preventing unsightly finishes. Gutters are installed as level as possible, giving first consideration to the aesthetic appearance and then to function. Corners are mitred and sealed with UV resistant silicone.
Blind rivets are used to keep everything together.

Seamless guttering is the most up-to-date material for the replacement and new guttering projects and is already used extensively by local authorities, and large private contractors. The system has been used For over 40 years in the U.SA , Australia, Europe and Ireland and was originally developed to cope with the very contrasting weather conditions in Canada. Our seamless guttering is manufactured in made-to-measure lengths on site, with no joints except at the ends of runs. There are no ugly external brackets and instead high tensile extruded aluminium hangers are incorporated within the gutter providing a cantilever support and pressing the gutter, more firmly to the fascia when under load.

Colorlume® is resistant to atmospheric corrosion agents and is 23 times stronger than PVC. No painting is required as the material is factory polyester powder coated in a choice of black, white, brown or special order colours, guttering will retain a good appearance for around 15 years and after many years of service, it can be re-painted. The gutter is produced in a classical “Ogee” style to enhance the appearance of both old and new buildings. The 125mm and 150mm cross section offers the opportunity to handle more than 3 times the volume of standard plastic guttering,

Colorlume® Colour Coated Steel.
Colorlume is a pre-painted Aluminium-Zinc coated steel with a distinctive smooth, flat fine spangle. The coating composition by weight is 55% aluminium and the balance zinc alloys, applied by a continuous hot-dip coating process, similar to that of continuous galvanising. It has both, aluminium-unique corrosion resistance, heat resistance and zinc-unique “galvanic behaviour”.
Worldwide, Colorlume is used in the white goods industry, automotive parts, roofing products, rainwater goods etc. and can be produced in a variety of specs from soft drawing quality to high tensile roof sheeting.
